# Getting started with Chrovia

> Start with PersonaHub profiles or integrate Chrovia SDK, then find the guides for credentials, automation, licensing, and browser capabilities.

Choose the path that matches what you want to do. **PersonaHub** is the desktop app for creating and launching browser profiles. **Chrovia SDK** is for developers integrating the browser runtime into their own applications. You do not need to follow the SDK License and plugin setup steps to use PersonaHub.

## Your first PersonaHub profile

1. Download and install PersonaHub from the [download page](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/download), then sign in to the desktop app.
2. [Create a profile](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/create-profile): choose a name and appearance, optionally configure a node, and save the profile. A node is not required; if you configure one, check it before creating the profile.
3. [Launch the profile browser](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/launch-profile): open a website and sign in. Launch the same profile again later to continue using its browser data.

## Passwords and sign-in verification

These guides describe operations in PersonaHub and its profile browser, not SDK APIs.

- Save or manage website usernames and passwords: [Password management](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/password-management)
- Scan an authenticator QR code and get rotating verification codes: [TOTP](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/totp)
- Register, use, or delete a software passkey for a profile: [Passkeys](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/passkeys)

## Automation and AI clients

- Connect browser automation tools to a running PersonaHub profile: [Enable CDP](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/enable-cdp)
- Let an AI client work with PersonaHub profiles through its local MCP service: [Connect MCP](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/connect-mcp)
- Integrate automation directly with the SDK instead: [SDK automation](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-automation)

## Partner rewards

- Earn PersonaHub credit through Bright Data referrals and redeem it for Pro: [Partner rewards](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/partner-rewards)

## Your first SDK instance

1. Need a browser and a trial License? Follow [Trial License installation](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/trial-license).
2. Ready to launch an isolated browser instance and call an API from a plugin? Follow the [SDK developer quickstart](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-getting-started).
3. Choosing features for your application? Use the [SDK documentation and capability index](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-capabilities).

## Licenses and online authorization

- Understand what a License grants, where to install it, and how to replace it: [License lifecycle](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-license)
- Understand online leases, renewal, and authorization failures: [Leases](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-leases)
- Purchase a commercial License or understand instance limits, hours, and renewals: [Commercial License billing](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/commercial-license-billing)

## Configuration and built-in plugins

- Prepare browser settings or read and write application preferences: [Extended Preferences](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-extended-preferences)
- Use a License that requires signed preferences: [Signed Extended Preferences](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-signed-extended-prefs)
- Package plugins, default files, and release metadata beside the browser: [Provision directory](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-provision)
- Install, debug, update, or remove a built-in extension: [Built-in plugins](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-plugins)
- Find an API and the JavaScript context where it is available: [JavaScript API overview](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-javascript-api)

## Browser capabilities

A License grants capabilities; configuration and API calls determine how your application uses them. Start with the relevant guide rather than copying every available setting into one instance.

- Adjust browser identity and network settings: Fingerprint override, [System proxy override](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-system-proxy-override)
- Filter requests or change navigation: [Declarative Net Request](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-declarative-net-request), [Network interception](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-network-intercept), [Navigation redirect](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-navigation-redirect)
- Supply or manage sign-in credentials: [Injected credentials](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-injected-credentials), [Saved-password store](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-passwords), [Software authenticator](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-software-authenticator)
- Coordinate startup and browser lifetime: [Messaging](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-messaging), [Supervisor process](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-supervisor-process), [Process management](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-process-management)
- Customize browser presentation: [Instance appearance](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-instance-appearance), [Instance metadata](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-instance-metadata), [Native dialogs](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-native-dialog)
- Restrict developer tools or password reveal: [Disable DevTools](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-disable-devtools), [Password reveal block](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-password-reveal-block)
- Understand API access outside the default plugin context: [Unrestricted API](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-unrestricted-api)

The [capability index](https://console.getchrovia.com/en/docs/sdk-capabilities) lists every entitlement and its configuration or API reference.
