Refund Policy
When refunds apply for Chrovia subscriptions, commercial licenses, and related paid services.
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to paid purchases made through Chrovia’s online checkout, including:
- Persona Hub and Merca paid subscriptions (for example, Pro);
- commercial Chrovia License purchases completed online;
- other paid services offered through the same checkout when applicable.
Free plans, trial licenses, and unpaid access are not refundable because no payment is collected.
Checkout, invoicing, tax collection, and payment processing may be handled by our payment partner Paddle. Where Paddle acts as merchant of record, the customer’s payment relationship may be with Paddle, and refunds may be issued through Paddle’s systems.
Related documents: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy.
2. Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for the selected billing period unless canceled before the renewal date shown in Console, Persona Hub, Merca, or the customer billing portal.
Canceling a subscription stops future renewals. Refunds for amounts already charged are described below. After a scheduled cancellation takes effect, paid entitlements end according to the subscription status and period end date.
3. Refunds
You may request a full refund within 14 days of a paid transaction. This covers the first subscription charge, later renewals, and commercial license purchases made through online checkout.
If a purchase is refunded, paid access for that purchase ends.
After that period, paid fees are generally not refunded, except when:
- you were charged more than once for the same purchase because of a clear billing error;
- payment succeeded but we failed to provision the paid access you purchased, and we cannot reasonably deliver it within a reasonable time after you contact us;
- a mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires a refund that you validly exercise.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@getchrovia.com from the email address on your Chrovia account, or request a refund at paddle.net, and include:
- the account email;
- approximate purchase date and amount;
- the product purchased (subscription or license);
- invoice, receipt, or transaction reference if available.
We may ask for additional information to verify the account and payment. Refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible and may take additional time to appear, depending on the payment provider and your bank or card issuer.
Chargebacks or payment disputes filed without first contacting support may delay resolution and can lead to suspension of paid access while the dispute is investigated.
5. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. The version in effect at the time of purchase generally applies to that purchase, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
